Overview
Inaugurated in 2006 & title sponsored by Pioneer DJ, ABDJ is an online vote that determines the most-popular US-based DJ. Each year, DJ Times nominates 100 DJs and fans can vote for their favorites from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Additionally, ABDJ is supported by a nationwide Summer Tour and Las Vegas award ceremony/closing party.

At select events, DJ Times & ABDJ staff will maintain a booth where votes are taken for the DJ/nominees. As an incentive, all voters (online or at tour events) can win prizes—like gear from Pioneer and a trip for 2 (flights & room) to Las Vegas for the ABDJ Closing Party/Award Presentation at Marquee nightclub. Again, voting online or at the 20+ ABDJ Summer Tour events gives fans a chance to win valuable prizes.
